Chloe McBurney

Chloe McBurney is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background. Holding a bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences as well as a master's degree in civil engineering, both earned from the University of Washington, Chloe graduated in 2022. She brings previous experience with geotechnical explorations, laboratory testing, and engineering analyses. In August 2023, Chloe joined Ciani & Hatch Engineering as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer. She plays a pivotal role in the geotechnical design services we provide. In the field, Chloe is a great communicator. As the eyes and ears for CHE onsite, her role is to complete site reconnaissance, site exploration, existing pavement evaluations, and infiltration testing.

 Outside of work, Chloe finds joy in staying active – whether it's playing ultimate frisbee with her local intramural team, going for runs, or exploring the outdoors through hiking.
