Jacob Helms, PE

Jacob is a passionate engineer with experience providing geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and geotechnical laboratory testing. Jacob graduated with his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in civil engineering from Boise State University in 2020 and 2022, respectively. Jacob has worked throughout the state of Idaho completing geotechnical investigation, analysis and reporting for ITD, LHTAC, and private clients. Jacob’s extensive experience performing geotechnical explorations has provided him with a thorough understanding of Idaho geology; coupled with his background in geotechnical laboratory testing, he has ample knowledge and understanding of the interpretation of lab test data and correlations with field conditions. Jacob’s attention to detail and open communication make him an asset to his project teams.

In his spare time, Jacob is an avid indoor rock climber who also enjoys cooking and listening to a variety of different genres of music in his free time.
