Mikayla Hatch, PE
For the past 8 years, Mikayla has provided project management, design staff management, design documentation, and construction phase services to clients in both the public and private sectors. She has successfully delivered technical memoranda, geotechnical engineering reports, and calculation packages for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), and the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). In the private sector, she has overseen the design and construction of privately owned commercial developments, including apartment complexes, college campus structures, and high rises in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington.
Mikayla is active in the Puget Sound chapter of the Women in Transportation Seminar (WTS) and American Public Works Association (APWA). She serves on the general board as a Transportation YOU committee member and participates in the Emerging Professionals committee for APWA.
In her free time, you can find Mikayla exploring the pacific northwest with her husband, reading, paddle boarding, finding ways to incorporate excel spreadsheets into her personal life, and building friendships over good food.
